The Order of the Phoenix also saw Fawkes serve as Dumbledore’s secret messenger, and he ensured that they both escaped when the Ministry of Magic came to arrest them. His feathers feature as the twin cores of Harry and Voldemort’s wands, and like his master, Fawkes was dedicated to fighting the forces of evil. The phoenix attacked the Basilisk and saved Harry’s life after he was poisoned in The Chamber of Secrets. Indeed, Dumbledore’s phoenix has so far played a small yet vital role in Harry Potter canon. It's quite the revelation and seemingly confirms that Credence's heritage. The chick that Credence has been carrying erupts into flame, and transforms into a red-and-gold phoenix. In the very final scene, Grindelwald informs Credence that he is, in fact, Aurelius Dumbledore, Albus and Aberforth’s long lost brother. However, this proves to be a major misdirection. As such, when Credence is seen caring for a young baby bird earlier in the movie, the filmmakers subtly seems to confirm these suspicions. This conversation becomes much more significant at Fantastic Beasts 2's end when the troubled Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) sides with Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). For much of the film, many of the characters believe that Credence is Corvus Lestrange, part of an ancient wizarding family whose emblem is a raven. Once Newt has congratulated you on your mastery, you apparate back out to the courtyard. The most prominent of these is a younger Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law), whom Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) reconvenes with early in the film. The scroll has two challenges: feeding the Thunderbird a bucket of giant worms, and making it rear up and down in front of you. Learning to get the Thunderbird to follow your command is a real test for any wizard. A flap of Frank’s wings has the power to create storms. Cacti punctuate the landscape along with large rock structures rising from the sand with smaller rocks perched perilously atop. Inside the Thunderbird’s enclosure lies an American desert. Newt explains that though he’s fiercely independent, Frank needs taking care of like all his other creatures. Puzzle complete, the box begins playing music, spinning faster and faster until eventually erupting into a brilliant light. The scroll transforms and shows you how to use your wand to move the rotatable sections so you can decipher the symbols. You see that the box is also split into three rotatable sections. On three sides of the box are three different symbols, but they’re scrambled. The scroll shows you how to assemble a box to release a rare bird call, an ancient Native American method of calling the powerful Thunderbird. Throughout the project the global VR Studio drew on their extensive previous experiences and the knowledge base built up from working in this field, as well as leveraging Framestore's fantastic in-house CG pipeline across Film and Integrated Advertising to ensure they spent the most time creating fantastic content-and very little time manually tracking assets, or on tasks that could be automated. The newest 2018 version relied heavily on the newly opened VR Studio in Framestore’s Montréal office, which also worked on the feature film. The Framestore global teams started early on with the script, meticulously working through it with the film's VFX Supervisors as they worked on the feature films. This allows interaction and play in an environment that feels real and tangible, with a level of visual fidelity that contributes to a greater feeling of presence. The team invented specific techniques to allow embedded real-time game engine assets inside an environment that is rendered using an offline renderer. This was the first time the Framestore VR Studio had combined real-time interactive elements with high quality pre-rendered environments-pushing both the interactivity and the quality in mobile VR. Using a photorealistic style that combines real-time elements and pre-rendered environments, players will feel that they have been transported right into the very heart of Newt’s magical world.
